Position Summary

Caribou Thunder is seeking a Resource Analyst to join our office and provide resource analysis support in a fast-paced office. You will play a crucial role in supporting the organization and delivering outstanding customer service to our customers.

Complete Description

In this role, you will collaborate with customers and work independently or with other team members to support various elements of the office, such as voucher preparation and execution, budget/resource review, and application of internal regulations. Utilizing financial and procurement systems, reporting software, MS Office Suite, and internal accounting systems will be part of your daily tasks. Upon joining the office, you will receive training on locally used customer systems.

The Resource Analyst may be required to meet with customers face-to-face to resolve discrepancies in financial transactions. The position offers flexibility in work hours, and any travel required will be local.

  • Review customer accounts and prepare documentation for current and historical financial transactions on behalf of the customers for certification and reimbursement.
  • Ensure program expenditures and resource allocations comply with regulations and policies, using various sources like databases, communication systems, financial systems, etc.
  • Communicate relevant documentation and information clearly through briefings, meetings, electronic communications, or verbal interactions with internal and external customers with varying financial knowledge.
  • Run reports and maintain metrics to track expense processing timelines.
  • Assist in documenting standard operating procedures for current and proposed future changes to processes.
  • Conduct user testing with impacted groups and provide feedback on upcoming changes, making necessary adjustments with management guidance.
  • Perform ad hoc finance-related tasks as directed by management.
  • Serve as a voucher processing analyst, providing guidance and entitlements to travelers and fellow team members in accordance with established regulations and policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic competencies with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).

Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with financial and procurement systems and reporting software.
