As an essential team member within Team Thunder, the Human Resources Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role as a primary information hub for all matters pertaining to Human Resources and Accounting functions. Your position involves the pivotal task of fostering a conducive environment for continuous development, nurturing a positive organizational culture, and elevating the overall employee experience.
Complete DescriptionProvide general HR administrative support:
  • Preparing correspondence, forms, and reports
  • Maintain employee record regarding payroll, PTO, bonuses, overtime, taxes, and requests
  • Handling documentation, ensuring each one is fully executed and saved in Rippling and SharePoint
  • Interpret, assist, and inform employees/managers regarding leave, benefit administration, HR policies and procedures within company guidelines
  • Assists with posting open positions
Employee Data Management:
  • Coordinating the onboarding new employee
  • Enter new employee information into Rippling
  • Ensure accurate information for current and new employees is reflected in HR and payroll database
  • Initiate, develop, process all onboarding documentation within Rippling/SharePoint for new hires
  • All HR Checklists for each program are 100% completed and maintained
  • Conduct periodic audits of employee records
  • Offboard exiting employees of the organization
  • Verify all documentation is fully executed and saved in Rippling/SharePoint
Provide general Accounting support:
  • Approve weekly employee timesheets
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees
  • Perform checks against numerous reports for accuracy
  • Run weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly deliverables for customers
  • Prepare customer invoices, adjust them according to each contract, and send out
  • Record financial transactions, maintain accounting records, prepare reconciliations, perform month-end transactions, and bank reconciliation
  • Prepare vendor invoices and payments
  • Process customer payments
  • Maintain spreadsheets for tracking various records
  • Assist with 401k.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Related Field
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Management
  • 3 - 5 year's minimum experience in similar capacity
  • SHRM or other HR related certification is Preferred
